Our Staff.
Our centre is staffed by fully qualified early childhood teachers.
Both our Co-Directors and Assistant are highly qualified and participate in ongoing professional development. In addition, our centre employs a part-time administration assistant, additional needs assistants as required and a contract cleaner. The teaching staff is responsible for the education, welfare and development of children while administration rests with an elected management committee. Our centre maintains a staff/children ratio of 2 teaching staff to 22 children for both Kindy groups at all times.

Dip. T. (Early Childhood) Grad Dip T L Senior Teacher Classification (4 days per fortnight)
Debbie offers a calm, warm and welcoming environment for all children in her care. She is kind, patient and above all flexible and caring of all children’s many needs. Debbie consistently demonstrates dedication, and a wealth of knowledge to her group of children, the parents and her fellow educators of Carina Kindy.
Meet Mrs Denise Haupt,
Kindy B Co-Director.
BEd (Early Childhood) (4 days per fortnight)
Denise’s 20 years of experience supporting children during their early years of growing and learning has developed her passion for planning high quality child centered programs in collaboration with children, families, community and staff. She values children’s individual and unique ways of learning and strives to foster a love of learning within a play-based environment.
Meet Mrs Joanne Bunker,
Educator.
Dip. Children’s Services Cert III Community Services (4 days per week)
Mrs Bunker provides the cuddles that are so important for all kindy children when they are tired or fragile. She gives that extra reassurance that they are surrounded by love when Mum and Dad have left. Jo is a highly experienced Early Childhood educator, having worked in Kindergartens, family day care, as an additional needs support assistant and in a nannying role. Her calm, organised nature helps promote a feeling of security at the Kindy and ensures the children are ready to explore the kindy environment. Jo is married and she has 2 wonderful teenage children.
Meet Mrs Marnie Dalrymple,
Administrative Assistant.
Administrative Assistant (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Marnie administers records, correspondence and financial matters at the kindergarten. Marnie is efficient and approachable and ensures the smooth operation of the kindergarten. She oversees liaison between parents, staff, committee and our central governing body.
